Is your silk real mulberry silk?

Yes. Every Sooyan piece is made from 100% grade-6A mulberry silk at 19–22 momme weight. We never blend with polyester or satin weaves. Each batch is inspected by hand in Suzhou before shipping.

What does "momme" mean?

Momme (mm) measures silk fabric weight and density. 19–22 momme is considered heavyweight silk: more durable, more lustrous, and longer-lasting than the 16 momme used in most mass-market silk products.

How do I wash silk?

Hand wash cold (below 30°C) with a pH-neutral silk detergent, or machine wash on a gentle/silk cycle inside a laundry bag. Do not bleach, do not wring, and air-dry away from direct sunlight. See our Silk Care Guide for details.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping: United States 7–12 business days, United Arab Emirates 5–9 business days, most other destinations 7–15 business days. Free worldwide shipping on orders over $99.

Do I have to pay customs duties?

For US orders, duties are generally not charged on shipments under $800 (de minimis). For UAE orders, 5% VAT may apply on arrival. If unexpected fees occur, contact us and we will help resolve them.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unworn, unwashed items in original packaging. Because our products are personal-care items, used items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. See our Refund Policy.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Mulberry silk is naturally hypoallergenic and contains sericin, a protein that is gentle on skin and hair. Our silk is OEKO-TEX certified free of harmful substances.

Can I send an order as a gift?

Yes — all orders arrive in gift-ready packaging at no extra cost. Add a note at checkout and we will include a hand-written card.
